A kitchen superhero, The Gripper opens jars with ease. It locks onto jar lids from 1" to 3.5" in diameter and does not let go. Then, at 12" long, it provides plenty of leverage to easily remove any lid, smooth-sided or grooved. To use, set The Gripper on a jar and turn the knob on top clockwise to lock onto the lid. Push the handle counter-clockwise to open the jar, then turn the knob counter-clockwise to release the grip on the lid. Hand wash only.
