The Zojirushi Virtuoso Plus counter top bread baker will make you a master of home baking. It surpasses Zojirushi's previous machines, as well as any other brands, by giving you an unequalled level of flexibility and choice, without sacrificing ease of use. In addition, it features two dough-kneading blades, plus two heaters (top and bottom) for exceptional oven-spring, the initial burst of yeast activity that determines much of the character of the crumb and crust of your loaf.
The Virtuoso Plus 15 "courses", or programs - White, Quick White, European, Whole Wheat, Quick Whole Wheat, Multi-Grain, Gluten-Free, Vegan, Salt-Free, Sugar-Free, Pizza Dough, Pasta Dough, Cake, Jam, and Homemade Recipe. And on the Virtuoso Plus, you can easily choose your program with one or two-digit codes that are listed right on the lid of the machine. The Homemade course lets you choose the the length of the knead, rise and bake times. There's also a crust control, so you can choose between three shades of crust. There's even an auto add dispenser that automatically mixes in nuts or other added ingredients. Both the baking pan and the kneading blade feature a non-stick surface for easy removal of the loaf, and for easy clean up.
A 12-hour clock features a timer with an up-to-13-hour delay, and a quick setting lets you create a fresh, hot loaf in just two hours, twenty minutes. Everything is controlled by front-panel buttons and visible on a large LCD screen. The Virtuoso Plus measures 18" wide, 10.5" deep and 13" high, and features a carry handle for easy transport. The Virtuoso Plus bakes a 2 lb. loaf.
