The Onyx double magnetic induction cooktop is a portable two- "burner" countertop cooker that packs enough power to sear and stir-fry, yet can go low enough to safely melt chocolate. All the while the cooktop itself stays cool to the touch, making it safe for use on the counter or on a buffet table. Each burner uses 90% of the energy it generates, while providing accurate and near-instant heat, quickly heating up cookware and letting you cook up to 50% faster than on traditional gas and electric cooking surfaces.
The temperature for each burner can be set from 110°F – 465°F, adjustable in 10-degree increments, using up to 1800 watts of power. Plus, there are 8 quick-launch cooking buttons for each cooktop: Melt, Warm, Simmer, Rapid Boil, Sauté, Brown, Sear and Stir-Fry. Like all magnetic induction cooktops, the Onyx requires induction-compatible cookware (all-aluminum pans will not work) to function; it will shut off automatically if no induction-compatible cookware is detected. The Onyx double portable cooktop measures 24.4" × 17.32" × 4.52 " high.
