These silicone lids create an airtight seal, so you can cook, re-heat and store food, and cut down on messy microwaves and dirty stovetops. They're reusable and more airtight and economical than plastic food bags, cling wrap, or aluminum foil. The set includes a 9", a 10.5", and a 12" lid, so you cover and seal most pots and pans, mixing bowls, microwaveable bowls, and food storage containers. The lids contain splatters, and lock in heat and steam for faster cooking times in the microwave or on the stove. And, they save you from digging for the right-sized lid. The silicone lids seal plastic, glass, ceramic, metal, and other materials that have a smooth, non-porous, unfluted edge. Simply center the lid, press down on the center knob to expel excess air and create a secure seal. Check that the seal is secure with a gentle tug on the knob. Lift the outer edge to break the seal and lift off the lid. Made from high-heat silicone that's afe to to 500-degrees Fahrenheit.
