One side features a well in the center to cradle meat or poultry for carving, the other side is flat for chopping and cutting. Both sides have a moat for catchiing juices, with a pour spout at one corner. This spout features a pooling well, so that liquids pour neatly, instead of running over the edges of the board. It's a really well-designed board. Made if Vermont by J.K. Adams, this New England, hard-rock maple board measures 24" x 16" x 1" and will last a lifetime with proper care.
