Created and brewed in small batches right here in Portland, Portland Syrups concoctions are the creations of PDX neighbors Chris Onstad and Dan McLaughlin. This limited edition syrup is a deliciously smooth "Summer" chai. Portland Syrups blended cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, allspice and cloves on top of a backbone of Orange Pekoe black tea and added a touch of black pepper to give this chai all of the traditional flavor profiles synonymous with the classic hot beverage. This chai, though, works great not only as a hot beverage, but truly shines when mixed with ice-cold sparkling water. Syrup stays fresh in the fridge for 6 months.
