Created and brewed in small batches right here in Portland, Portland Syrups concoctions are the creations of PDX neighbors Chris Onstad and Dan McLaughlin. Their syrups use only the finest whole ingredients and natural sweeteners to create fantastic syrups that are delicious and invigorating in both cocktails and sodas. Each bottle makes a full gallon of full-flavored soda, or between 16 and 32 cocktails, all with 40% less sugar than most mixers.
This limited edition syrup is a deliciously smooth "Summer" chai. Portland Syrups blended cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, allspice and cloves on top of a backbone of Orange Pekoe black tea and added a touch of black pepper to give this chai all of the traditional flavor profiles synonymous with the classic hot beverage. This chai, though, works great not only as a hot beverage, but truly shines when mixed with ice-cold sparkling water. 12oz glass bottle stays fresh in the fridge for 6 months.
