It lets you plow through a pound of cherries for pie, fruit salad, cobbler, clafoutis, or a simply a bowl full of fruit for snacking, without handling any of the messy pits. Simply place the adjustable OXO pitter over a bowl, load up to six cherries at once, and press down on the lid. When you open the pitter, the fruit falls into the bowl, while the easy-to-remove pit tray catches up to 75 pits before it needs emptying. How's that for easy? The pitter's legs fold in for compact storage, and the pitter comes apart for thorough cleaning in the dishwasher. Folded up for storage, the OXO multi pitter measures just 7.6" x 3.8" x 13".
