Le Creuset's all-over (inside and out) non-stick ceramic coating is made without PFAS, and it gives superior non-stick performance for easy food release and cleaning, along with excellent searing and browning abilities, with or without the use of oil or butter. This coating is non-reactive and highly resistant to scratching and staining, and is safe for use with metal utensils. Each pan has a forged, heavy-gauge aluminum core for efficient heat distribution and retention without hot spots, along with a fully encapsulated stainless steel base and a reinforced rim to prevent warping. Le Creuset essential cookware is compatible with all cooktops, including induction, and is oven-safe up to 550°F (tempered glass lids up to 425°F). The ergonomic, stainless-steel handles minimize heat transfer.
