It's made from an advanced ceramic close in hardness to diamonds, and will makes just about any grating/shredding task a snap. In the raised center of the grater are rows of long-lasting sharp teeth which quickly shred ginger, daikon radish, elephant garlic, even nutmeg and parmesan cheese. The moat collects the gratings and flavorful juices. A silicone ring on the bottom of the grater keeps the grater in place while you work. 3.5" in diameter, dishwasher safe.
