Celebrated chef and author Ken Hom has deisgned this class, un-coated wok. It features a flat bottom, so it works on electric and magnetic-induction stovetops, as well as on gas. The flat bottom also ensures that the wok remains stable while you're cooking. It's made of 1.5 mm carbon steel that can stand up to high-heat stir-frying; the carbon steel also ensures uniform and rapid heat distribution. The solid rubberwood handle is attached to the pan with multiple rivets, and there's a helper handle for easy lifting. Seasoning prior to cooking will be needed; hand wash only with hot water, or a minimal amount of detergent, to preserve the seasoning.
