The top is 1.75" thick and features an 8" deep, full-length drop leaf. With the leaf in place, you can pull up a couple of stools, a great way to read the paper over a cup of coffee, or share a bottle of wine with friends. Two slat storage shelves add to your kitchen storage space as does a 14" wide utensil drawer. The Kitchen Island measures 24" x 48" (32" x 48" with the drop leaf raised) and stands 36" high, just right for 24" stools.
