The Hori Hori knife first appeared in Japan in the 16th century; the word ‘Hori’ means ‘to dig’ in Japanese. Its bent, ridged and razor-sharp blade make this knife perfect for digging or cutting through roots or hard soil; it’s a knife, saw and digging tool all in one. It can also be used to replant seedlings or as a measuring tool when planting bulbs (using the cm and inch markings on the blade to measure the depth). 12.5” long, solid-ash handle, complete with sheath.
