This well-designed tofu press squeezes water from tofu so the tofu absorbs more flavor from dressings, marinades, and sauces. The Helen's Asian Kitchen press is made from polypropylene and 18/8 stainless steel; it's easy to use and store, measuring just 8.5" x 5" x 6". The press gets the job done by removing water without breaking tofu or crumbling it apart. The drain channels in the base direct pressed water away from the tofu, so the press works while laying flat or on its side. You'll find that your tofu has a better texture and taste, and that the pressed tofu cooks with fewer spatters. Hand wash only.
