GreenPan invented the PFAS-free non-stick cooking surface, so the diamond-infused ceramic coating on the Valencia Pro griddle is PFAS and PFOA free, and it's made from a material derived from beach sand, so there’s no risk of producing harmful fumes. It's slick to start with and it stays that way, even if you use metal utensils. Food, even eggs, just slides right off. And, if you don't want to simply wipe it out when done, your Valencia Pro griddle will go right in the dishwasher.
Second, Valencia Pro pans feature unique bases that deliver uniform heat distribution, enabling the griddle to sear like a dream on all cooking surfaces: induction, gas, electric, halogen or ceramic. The stay-flat base is designed to flex when heated, meaning oil stays where you put it, so you can use less. The stainless-steel handle on the griddle is wide and comfortable in the hand. It's all part of Greenpan's pan body construction: aluminum with a magnetic-induction base for superb heat conduction and distribution.
