Eucalyptus Rocking Chair

This inviting and oh-so-comfortable rocking chair is made of solid eucalyptus with an antique-wash finish that pairs beautifully with the pale, ocean-blue cushions. The plush cushions are covered in a solution-dyed, weather-resistant Olefin fabric. The rocking chair measures 31” wide, 37.5” deep and 27.5” high.

Eucalyptus is an ideal wood for outdoor furniture, with the same properties as teak, at a fraction of the price. It's dense, heavy, durable, and packed full of oils that help it weather well in nearly all climates. In addition, eucalyptus is decay-resistant and features a light, straight grain. The eucalyptus furniture from Outdoor Interiors is FSC certified for responsible forestry practices, and is plantation grown. Like teak, you can allow eucalyptus to weather naturally to a silvery-grey color, or you can maintain the original neutral color of the 3-coat Antique Wash stain with regular applications of teak or linseed oil.
