This distinctive table is made of solid eucalyptus in an antique-wash finish with stainless-steel hardware and a 31.5" lazy susan in the center. The table measures 63" in diameter and 30" high, with room for eight, all of whom can easily reach the lazy susan which rotates smoothly and sits flush with the table top. There's a hole in the center to accommodate umbrella poles of up to 2" in diameter, and a clamp in the base to secure the unbrella pole to the table (we still recommend an unbrella base).
Eucalyptus is an ideal wood for outdoor furniture, with the same properties as teak, at a fraction of the price. It's dense, heavy, durable, and packed full of oils that help it weather well in nearly all climates. In addition, eucalyptus is decay-resistant and features a light, straight grain. The eucalyptus furniture from Outdoor Interiors is FSC certified for responsible forestry practices, and is plantation grown. Like teak, you can allow eucalyptus to weather naturally to a silvery-grey color, or you can maintain the original neutral color of the 3-coat Antique Wash stain with regular applications of teak or linseed oil.
