Use the flat side of the disc for flattening chicken breasts or crushing nuts and garlic, the toothed side for tenderizing tough cuts of meat. The handle screws on and off, so you can easily reverse the 3.25"-dia. disc, and it goes in the dishwasher for clean up (after removing the plastic handle gasket). It's well-balanced for ease of use, weighs nearly 2 lbs. for quick results, and is made of chrome-plated zinc for durabiity. The oversized handle provides a comfortable, secure grip.
