Every time Cuisinart updates their Griddler contact grill/griddle, it gets better. This time, a smokeless cooking mode has been added. This features pre-programmed cooking settings for beef, pork, chicken, fish, and more to avoid over-heating, and a fold-down front foot and an additional top plate position to maximize grease drainage. Together, these give you indoor grilling and searing with absolutely minimal smoke.
Of course, the usual Griddler functions are retained: the non-stick cooking plates are easily removable and go in the dishwasher for clean up, each plate is reversible to be either a ribbed grill or a flat griddle, and the Griddler can be folded open to use two cooking surfaces at once, both either a grill or a griddle. You can fry, grill and sear; you can also use the Griddler as a fabulous panini press and contact grill. Temperature settings from 175 to 425 degrees F, plus a sear function. Digital controls with an easy-to-read LCD display. 11.5" x 10.5" x 7" high.
