The Coffee Toddy is easy to use: 1 lb. of coffee and 72 ozs. of water steep in the plastic brewing container for at least 12 hours to create the coffee concentrate. Then, it drains through a fliter into the glass carafe below, making it easy to keep in your fridge for up to two weeks.To make a cup, simply mix 1 part of the concentrate with 3 parts of water and/or milk and microwave if you want it hot. You can steep longer for a srronger concentrate (it will have a little more acid) and vary the mixing to suit your taste.
