Breville's tea infuser is actually an electric kettle and a teapot, both in one compact appliance. No need to boil water separately, then pour into a teapot. You can control the temperature of the water you use to steep the leaves, and set a timer to tell when steeping is done. You can set your own steeping time from 1 - 5 minutes, and choose your desired water temperature from 5 settings that range from 175 to 212 degrees F. When your tea is steeped, a 1-touch magnetic detachment lets you easily and safely remove the steeping basket from the water. Then, if you with, a keep-warm feature keeps your tea at the ideal drinking temperature for up to 30 mins. The Breville Compact Smart Tea infuser is made of brushed stainless steel, with a temperature-shock-resistant glass carafe with a 34-oz. capacity.
