Featuring the patented "wing blade" design, this blade replaces KitchenAid's flat beater and acts like a wiper blade to continuously mix, beat, fold, and scrape ingredients from the sides and bottom of the bowl, all the way down to the "dimple" in the bottom of the bowl. The BeaterBlade makes fluffier batter when creaming butter and sugar at high speeds, and makes smoother batter when mixing at lower speeds for cheesecake.
