The Comfort Air chair from American Leather is unlike any other recliner or swivel chair. It employs an exclusive, patented mechanism that, when you sit down, balances your weight. Then, it moves with you, responding instantly to your movements while providing unparalleled support and comfort. Forward, back, rocking, reclining...your Comfort Air chair follows your lead in every motion. And, it swivels a full 360 degrees, too. You have to come try one out to fully appreciate how comfortable a Comfort Air chair is.

Comfort Air chairs are over 40 years in the making, pioneered and patented by architect Scott Erb and his brother Mark, and brought to fruition over five years by American Leather. The mechanism, found only in Comfort Air chairs, permits dynamic movement of the seat cushion, backrest and headrest, while providing complete support and comfort. This all happens within the arms of the chair; the arms themselves do not move, only the support cushions do. Plus, the chair swivels 360 degrees. It means you can move, and your chair moves with you through a infinite variety of positions, whether you're reclining, rocking back and forth, curling up on the seat, sitting up straight, stretching out, or whatever. It's the chair that's made for the way you move.

Each Comfort Air chair is made to your order in Dallas, Texas, and is available in any of American Leather's hundreds of fabrics and leathers. Prices vary according to fabric or leather grade. In addition to choosing your fabric or leather, each Comfort Air chair is available in two sizes, to better fit everyone. And, each Comfort Air chair can come with a nickel-finish or wood-finish disc base, or a four-star base in a brass, bronze or nickel finish

The Cirrus Comfort Air chair measures 28" wide, 36" deep and 36" high in the standard size. The large size measures 31" x 38" x 38". Both sizes require 13" of wall clearance for full reclining and 53" for full rotation.
