(Re)Zip bags are a very cool thing; reusable, washable, leak-proof bags for all kinds of food storage. You can say goodbye to all those throw-away plastic bags that clutter landfills everywhere, because one (Re)Zip bag can replace up to 300 disposable baggies. You can seal snacks, sandwiches, fruit, and more to take to work or school. You can freeze portions of stock or soup in the freezer. You can use (Re)Zip bags to buy bulk food at the grocery store, then store food at home without changing containers. The transparent design allows for a quick glance at contents inside, and the double-lock closure provides an airtight seal. The (Re)Zip stand-up bags have an expandable base for easy filling and cleaning, but when not in use, they nest and compress flat for convenient storage.

(Re)Zip bags are made out of food safe, FDA-grade PEVA material that is PVC-free, lead-free & BPA-free. To wash, you can follow the manufacturer's directions, or you can do what we do, and put (Re)Zip bags in the dishwasher on the top rack, positioned so that they stay open. The manufacturer says to fill halfway with warm water and add a small amount of dish soap, then gently swirl the bag to make sure all the internal surfaces are cleaned, using a bottle brush on the corners if necessary.
